We are looking for an IT/OT Engineer to support the implementation of Vertical Integration within an industrial production environment. The objective is to minimize manual data entry by enabling seamless digital communication between automated production equipment and enterprise systems, while ensuring data integrity, traceability, and zero data loss.
The role involves working at the interface between industrial automation (PLC, SCADA, HMI), IT infrastructure, databases, and manufacturing systems, while collaborating closely with automation, validation, and engineering teams.
Main Responsibilities:
Implement and support Vertical Integration between manufacturing systems and enterprise applications.
Ensure reliable and secure data exchange between production equipment and SQL/Historian databases.
Interface SAP, MES systems, Recipe Managers, and production equipment.
Ensure batch data and production recipes are correctly transferred to manufacturing systems.
Guarantee that production reports and batch data are securely returned to the databases after each production cycle.
Design and maintain robust data flows to eliminate the risk of data loss.
Standardize alarm management and audit trails across different equipment suppliers.
Perform detailed testing of alarms and audit trails during development, FAT, and SAT phases.
Support engineering teams during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), including process-related activities when required.
Coordinate the installation of the required IT infrastructure (servers, firewalls, PCs, etc.) through the ticketing system and follow up on implementation.
Configure and manage user access to production systems through integration with domain controllers.
Collaborate closely with automation engineers responsible for PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming.
Prepare Installation Qualification (IQ) documentation and work closely with Validation Engineers on Operational Qualification (OQ).
Contribute to new initiatives related to:
Predictive Maintenance
Counter-Based Maintenance
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
OAE initiatives

Cross-functional collaboration with Automation Engineers
You have the following skills:
Mandatory
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Hands-on experience with OSI PI Historian.
Experience storing and managing production data within SQL databases.
Experience with RtReports reporting solutions.
Good understanding of industrial data integration and data flow management.
Ability to work across both IT and OT environments.
Nice to Have
Experience programming PLCs.
Knowledge of HMI development.
Experience with Structured Text (ST) programming language (IEC 61131-3).
Experience with Siemens TIA Portal.
Additional Assets
Knowledge of SCADA systems.
Experience supporting FAT/SAT activities.
Familiarity with qualification and validation processes (IQ/OQ).
Experience in manufacturing or process automation environments.
Understanding of industrial networking, servers, firewalls, and user access management.
Interest or experience in Predictive Maintenance, Counter-Based Maintenance, and AI-driven industrial solutions.
Votre profil
You have at least 3 years of professional experiences in IT
If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best
