As Solution Manager Cybersecurity, you combine a good technical background with clear commercial insight and strategic thinking. This role requires someone who understands the cybersecurity landscape, including the Belgian market, and who can translate technical solutions into business value for strategic Telenet Business customers. The role is built around three equally important dimensions: technical expertise, roadmap creation and portfolio development, and commercial and customer-facing skills. You are able to research, support and manage products end-to-end, while also working closely with vendors, partners, sales teams and Telent Business strategic customers.
Your role as Service Delivery Manager:
- Translate cybersecurity into business value: Connect technical expertise with commercial insight by translating cybersecurity technologies, vendor solutions and market evolutions into clear value for strategic Telenet Business customers.
- Shape and manage the cybersecurity roadmap: Build, prioritise and continuously evolve the cybersecurity solution roadmap in line with the overall strategy, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, commercial potential, timing and budget.
- Manage products end-to-end: Research, assess, launch, support and continuously improve cybersecurity roadmap across their full lifecycle, from market and vendor assessment to positioning, customer adoption and lifecycle management.
- Develop strong customer value propositions: Define and improve cybersecurity propositions, including positioning, pricing, features and customer journey guidelines, based on customer needs, market trends and business opportunities.
- Engage strategic customers and stakeholders: Act as a credible sparring partner for strategic Telenet Business customers and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear business requirements and go-to-market input.
- Turn insights into strategic decisions: Use quantitative and qualitative data, customer feedback, competitor insights, sales input and market dynamics to identify opportunities, prepare recommendations, build business cases and support leadership decision-making.
- Manage vendors, partners and commercial success: Evaluate, onboard, manage and offboard vendors and partners while collaborating with Sales, marketing, technical and leadership teams to sharpen positioning, support go-to-market activities and grow the cybersecurity portfolio.
Your profile as Service Delivery Manager:
- Master’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience in a product, solution, cybersecurity, technology or business-oriented role.
- Fluent communication skills in Dutch, English and French, with the ability to engage clearly with technical, commercial and executive stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and helicopter view, with the ability to build a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and roadmap across multiple building blocks.
- Good technical understanding of cybersecurity solutions, technologies, market dynamics and product implications, combined with the ability to translate them into customer value.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including business casing, value proposition design, product positioning, pricing, P&L impact, budget and CAPEX management.
- Deep understanding of customers, the Belgian cybersecurity market, competitors, vendors, partners, market trends and sales and marketing dynamics.
Hands-on, autonomous and collaborative mindset, with strong ownership, problem-solving skills, vendor lifecycle management capabilities and the ability to act as a go-to person for multiple stakeholders.
