Our client, a leading organization in the banking sector, is looking for a Senior Initiative Owner / Program Manager to lead a strategic automation and robotics transformation initiative.
The mission is part of a broader transformation context involving the migration of a portfolio of RPA robots to a dedicated robotics platform. The consultant will be responsible for structuring, steering and monitoring the initiative end-to-end, ensuring alignment with Agile practices, business priorities, stakeholder expectations and delivery constraints.
This role requires a senior profile with strong ownership, excellent communication skills, solid stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to operate in a complex, fast-moving environment involving both internal teams and strategic external partners.
The consultant will be responsible for:
Structuring and steering the initiative according to Agile ways of working.
Preparing and animating the ceremonies linked to the Initiative Owner role.
Defining, prioritizing and monitoring the different delivery streams and work packages.
Managing scope, quality, budget, timing, risks, issues and dependencies.
Ensuring end-to-end monitoring of developments until go-to-market.
Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Cluster Product Owners, squads, technical teams and external partners.
Supporting ideation and refinement phases.
Ensuring clear and professional communication with middle and senior management.
Maintaining strong alignment between business needs, delivery priorities and technical contributors.
Driving change and bringing stakeholders along during the transformation.
You have the following skills
Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in program/project management.
Strong experience in managing complex IT initiatives with strategy, priorities, budget, timing and dependency constraints.
Solid experience with Agile methodology and practices.
Good understanding of technical environments, allowing efficient interaction with architects, developers and experts.
Familiarity with automation/RPA solutions; BluePrism is a strong asset.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including towards senior management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in change management frameworks such as ADKAR is a plus.
Certifications or framework knowledge such as Agile, Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR are expected.
Experience in the banking sector is a strong asset.
Fluent English and at least one local language: French or Dutch.
Master’s degree required.
