Make your mark for patients
We are looking for an AI Product Lead who is strategic, results-driven, and collaborative to join our Patient Supply Digital Transformation team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
In this role, you will be at the intersection of AI, product leadership, and biopharma operations. You will help bring practical AI solutions into the processes that support how UCB manufactures and supplies medicines, with a strong focus on business value, user adoption, and measurable impact. This is a role for someone who can connect complex operational needs with the possibilities of AI, while making sure solutions are trusted, scalable, and fit for use in a regulated environment.
Who you will work with:
As a member of the Digital Innovation team, you will connect and align multidisciplinary AI product delivery squads, working with talented colleagues such as:
-
Process development, manufacturing and supply experts who bring operational context, priorities, and adoption needs.
-
Data & technology partners who help design, build, integrate, and scale AI products.
-
Quality, validation, and compliance experts who help ensure solutions are fit for use in a regulated biopharma environment.
What you will do:
-
Define the direction and roadmap for AI products that support transformation priorities across process development, manufacturing, and supply.
-
Make product decisions that balance business value, user needs, technical feasibility, scalability, and fitness for use in a regulated environment.
-
Work with data and technology teams to move AI products from early exploration to deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
-
Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to keep priorities, dependencies, decisions, and delivery progress clear.
-
Drive adoption and measurable impact by embedding AI products into ways of working and monitoring performance over time.
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
-
You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in AI, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
-
You bring practical experience shaping and delivering AI (incl. generative and agentic AI) products, with a practical understanding of what it takes to move from idea to adoption.
-
You have proven experience leading products or digital solutions end to end, including discovery, roadmap definition, MVP delivery, scale-up, adoption, and continuous improvement.
-
You can connect business priorities with user needs, data realities, technical feasibility, and quality expectations to make sound product decisions.
-
You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences and can align stakeholders around outcomes, trade-offs, risks, and delivery priorities.
-
You are comfortable working in regulated, quality-focused environments, ideally in biopharma, life sciences, process development, manufacturing, supply, or related operational settings.
-
You bring a collaborative mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to create structure in ambiguity while helping teams deliver practical, responsible AI products.
