Description complète du poste

Missions :

The Multi-skilled Technician plays a key role in the smooth running of operations, performing a variety of tasks and providing technical support to teams in the field. A true jack-of-all-trades, he/she contributes to equipment maintenance, site assembly and dismantling, and the general organization of activities. This position is open to anyone who is motivated, curious and keen to learn a technical trade in a dynamic environment.
Activities:
- Support teams in site preparation, organization and clean-up activities.
  Contribute to on-site equipment assembly and dismantling operations, ensuring correct and safe installation.
- Carry out various technical tasks, such as welding, electrical and mechanical work, depending on skills and site requirements.
- Handle materials, including the use of forklift trucks and other lifting equipment.
- Be available and versatile to carry out various assignments, support the team and respond to unforeseen operational needs.
- Ensure proper operation of tools and machines used on job sites.
- Maintain and check tools on a regular basis, keeping track of the inventory of spare parts and consumables required for operations.
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, by diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out the necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with on-site safety instructions, report any risks or problems detected, and propose solutions to improve working methods.
Profile required:

Training: No specific diploma required, but technical training (electricity, mechanics, welding, etc.) is a plus.
Experience: Beginners accepted. First experience in a technical environment or on a construction site is an asset.

Desired skills :

– Eagerness to learn and curiosity about technical professions.

– Interest in manual work and site environments.

– Basic technical skills: plumbing, mechanical assembly, electricity, masonry and heating.

– Manual work (site assembly and dismantling).

– Maintenance of equipment and installations (assembly and disassembly for repairs) in collaboration with the supervisor and project engineer.

– Compliance with safety regulations.

– International mobility.

– Driving license B.

– Construction machinery license (a plus).

– English (a plus) – Welding (a plus).

Personal qualities :

– Self-motivated and autonomous.

– Team spirit and good communication skills.

– Adaptability and versatility.

– Adaptability, availability, thoroughness.

Key skills developed on the job :

In-house training in job-specific techniques.
Development of various technical skills (maintenance, welding, electricity, etc.).

Profile :

Education: Technical and in-house training
Professional: experience 0 to 10 years experience in the industry
Languages: French and/or Dutch (any other language is an asset)
Computer skills: Outlook

Position in the organization: Service Operations
Reporting to the Operations Manager

Job requirements:
Position based in Brussels or Nivelles, with frequent travel on site (Europe – 1 month rotations and outside Europe – 6 weeks rotations).
Manual and technical work requiring good physical condition.
