Logistic Coordinator

As a Logistic Coordinator, you ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our Material Management department. You play a key role in guaranteeing material availability, supporting field teams, and maintaining efficient logistics processes.
Key responsibilities:
Order and inventory management
Process material orders in line with internal procedures
Monitor and manage incoming requests from technicians and internal departments
Enter and manage data in SAP
Perform stock controls and ensure inventory accuracy
Manage safety stock levels (MRP)
Warehouse and supplier coordination
Centralize and manage warehouse material orders (Fleurus site)
Maintain operational relationships with local suppliers
Follow up on deliveries and liaise with suppliers and transporters
Handle incoming goods and ensure proper storage
Receiving and quality control
Check goods for quality and quantity compliance
Register receipts in the system
Manage supplier claims in case of discrepancies
Shipping and distribution
Prepare and organize shipments
Coordinate transport and ensure timely deliveries
Prepare equipment kits (e.g., for new employees)
Specialized equipment management
Manage hydraulic, electrical, measuring equipment and PPE
Ensure availability, compliance and traceability of equipment
Coordinate inspections with external providers
Monitor certification validity and inspection schedules
Support and coordination
Support technicians and planners with material-related issues
Provide assistance on SAP references, delivery tracking, and order issues
Prepare reports related to delivery claims or anomalies
Handle specific customer requests and quotations
Returns and projects
Manage returns of materials to HQ
Support logistics projects and system implementations
Participate in inventory processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Health, safety and compliance
Actively support and maintain VCA safety standards
Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures
Participate in risk analysis and continuous safety improvements
Use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job requirements:
Secondary education (general or technical)
5-10 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Excel
Experience with SAP is a strong asset
Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to work independently
Strong team player
