Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior HVAC Engineer to join its Life Sciences division. The role will initially be based in our Antwerp office, with assignments on-site in the Walloon Region. This is a 12-months contract, with the possibility of renewal.

The key objectives for this role are:

Design HVAC systems including calculation for airflow rate setting and consumption
Develop HVAC schematics
Develop material job description and equipment data sheet
Develop material requisition for HVAC plant
Develop P&ID schematics
Available to be assigned to site as Senior Field HVAC Engineer, to give technical assistance to construction team

Expected:

MSc / BSc in engineering
Previous experience in similar role in life sciences projects
Good communication, planning and organizational skills
Pro-active approach in resolving issues
Familiar with Office tool
Eligible to work in Belgium
Fluent English
Good spoken and written Dutch & French

Desiderable:

Experience with technical utilities design
Previous experience at construction site
