Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior HVAC Engineer to join its Life Sciences division. The role will initially be based in our Antwerp office, with assignments on-site in the Walloon Region. This is a 12-month contract, with the possibility of renewal.

The key objectives for this role are:
- Design HVAC systems including calculation for airflow rate setting and consumption
- Develop HVAC schematics
- Develop material job description and equipment data sheet
- Develop material requisition for HVAC plant
- Develop P&ID schematics
- Available to be assigned to site as Senior Field HVAC Engineer, to give technical assistance to construction team

Expected:
- MSc / BSc in engineering
- Previous experience in similar role in life sciences projects
- Good communication, planning and organizational skills
- Pro-active approach in resolving issues
- Familiar with Office tool
- Eligible to work in Belgium
- Fluent English
- Good spoken and written Dutch & French
Desiderable:
- Experience with technical utilities design
- Previous experience at construction site
