Projestec is the official KFC franchise partner for Wallonia and part of Brussels. Today we operate 9 restaurants, with an ambitious plan to grow to 20 restaurants over the next five years.
To support this exciting journey, we are looking for an exceptional Director of Operations who combines strategic vision with a strong hands-on mentality.
As a member of our Executive Committee, you will work directly alongside the CEO and take full ownership of the operational performance of our restaurant network. This is a unique opportunity to help shape one of Belgium's fastest-growing QSR franchise organisations.
Your Mission
You will lead the operational performance of the entire restaurant network by driving excellence across:
✅ Restaurant profitability (P&L ownership)
✅ EBITDA growth
✅ Labour Cost (COL) & productivity
✅ Cost of Sales (COS)
✅ Guest Experience & Operational Excellence
✅ Food Safety & Brand Audit performance
✅ Leadership development & succession planning
✅ New Store Openings (NSO)
✅ Digital transformation of restaurant operations
You will inspire and coach our Restaurant General Managers to lead their restaurants as true entrepreneurs, creating a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
International Exposure
You will work directly with KFC Western Europe Business Unit (WEBU) and collaborate closely with international brand teams to implement operational best practices, strategic initiatives and future growth projects while representing Projestec within the wider KFC network.
Who You Are
✔ Minimum 5 years' experience leading multi-site operations within QSR, hospitality or food retail
✔ Strong business acumen with proven P&L ownership
✔ Inspirational leader and people developer
✔ Entrepreneurial, hands-on and highly results-driven
✔ Excellent analytical and organisational skills
✔ Fluent in French and English (English is mandatory due to direct collaboration with KFC WEBU)
✔ Dutch is considered a strong asset
