The Electricity Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of electrical installations at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
Note: This post requires participation in the 24/7 technical on-call rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
The incumbent must:
- be certified to a secondary technical education level in electrical or electromechanical engineering OR possess an equivalent diploma/certification with a BA5 certification (electrical safety for qualified staff);
- have at least 6 years’ experience in the maintenance of technical electrical installations on complex and large-scale sites such as office or industrial buildings;
- have a very good understanding of electrical systems such as emergency generators as well as high and low voltage electrical systems, UPS and Passive Network Infrastructure (PNWI);
- possess a valid driver’s license;
- possess the following minimum levels of NATO’s official languages (English/French): V (“Advanced”) in one; II (“Elementary”) in the other.
Pay: From €3.922,00 per month
