Purpose
To define the operational and leadership responsibilities of the Ramp Dispatcher role, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling of Unit Load Device (ULD) transfers on the ramp, effective coordination between teams, and clear, timely communication with all involved departments. This role safeguards operational integrity, upholds service level agreements (SLA), and maintains a high standard of safety and compliance.

2. Oversee Correct Use and Care of Ground Support Equipment (GSE)

Conduct daily GSE inspections.

Operational Duties
Import Operations
-
Ensure all transfers are executed correctly, in line with SLA requirements and within specified timeframes.

Coordinate movement of ULDs to the correct warehouses or airlocks.

Sort ULDs by priority when required, ensuring proper loading sequence for trucks.

Manage full follow-up for flower flights — these must be processed immediately and receive top priority.

Position and remove dollies for flights handled by SWP only when required for transfers; AP will collect dollies from the designated parking area.
Export Operations

Clear custor decks and position cargo in designated parking spots in coordination with the Ramp Team.

During rain, ensure ULDs are placed under the canopy or, if space allows, in the warehouse.
Priority Responsibilities

Execute necessary ULD transfers promptly.
-
Assist Ramp Team with loading operations.

Assist with ULD build-up in required warehouses when necessary.
-
Ensure GSE and dollies are always parked in designated areas.
-
Report and remove damaged dollies or GSE immediately; transport to designated repair facilities (SPS or TCR).

Handle special cargo with required care and compliance.
