Algeco is currently seeking a Production & Logistics Planner to join the team in Beringen, Belgium. This is a key operational role, working cross-functionally to ensure efficient planning processes, drive operational excellence, and support the delivery of an outstanding customer experience.
About the role
As the central planning link between Sales, Operations, Production, Procurement, Fleet, Logistics, and Service, you'll translate customer demand into efficient operational execution. You'll balance production capacity, transport planning, fleet availability, and customer commitments while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and continuously improving planning performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and operational priorities.

Coordinate transport activities, deliveries, collections, fleet availability, and rental asset planning.

Balance production priorities with customer commitments while optimising resources and operational efficiency.

Monitor planning KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve planning issues.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operational execution.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance planning processes and operational performance.
We're looking for

35 years of experience in production planning, logistics, supply chain, transport planning, or operations planning.

Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Navision, or similar.

Excellent organisational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in Dutch and English; French is desirable

A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
