We now wish to recruit an E&I and Automation Project Engineer to work on site supporting capital projects for a client in the region of Leuven.

The assignment
-
Provide specialized technical advice and support in industrial automation and E&I.

Lead the E&I and automation part of projects.

Prepare datasheets, IO lists, hookup drawings, functional descriptions, URS, BOM, set up automation solutions, ...

Able to interpret P&ID's, HAZOPS, ...

Design and implement E&I and automation solutions with focus on DCS and PLC.

Follow up actively implementation ensuring compliance with set specifications and deadlines.

Have good knowledge of OT network construction and implementation.

Maintain close contact with suppliers, reviewing bids and selecting appropriate partners for automation components.

Responsible for the budget of E&I and automation projects, where cost control and optimization are essential.

Collaborate actively with internal teams.

Communicate clearly on the progress of the assigned projects.

Required knowledge and skills
-
Bachelor or master in E&I and-or automation, energy technology, control technology, electrical engineering, electromechanics or equivalent education-experience.

Flexible and versatile professional with at least 5 years of experience in E&I-automation.

Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with good insight into construction processes and parties involved
Duration of the assignment, 1 year, with extension if applicable
Desired start date: as soon as possible
