DESCRIPTION AND TASKS
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in IT architecture and cloud-native Azure environments.
The ideal candidate combines strategic architectural vision with a hands-on mindset, enabling teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across a heterogeneous technology landscape.
You will play a central role in defining, guiding, and governing solution architecture principles, while also contributing to operational and lifecycle management (LCM) activities on Azure environments, including platform reliability and system engineering tasks.
Profile and experience
Profile
- You define and govern high-level solution architecture principles, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.
- You guide and support Agile teams in translating architecture into implementable solution designs, independent of specific technology stacks.
- You design and oversee cloud-native and hybrid solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment across business, functional, and technical domains.
- You act as a technical advisor to teams and architects, facilitating decision-making and ensuring consistent architectural direction.
- You ensure that architecture guidelines and governance frameworks are properly applied and adhered to across all teams.
- You drive non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- You help manage the technical lifecycle of applications and platforms, ensuring long-term sustainability and cost efficiency.
- You support and contribute to Azure platform lifecycle management (LCM), including:
- Certificate and identity management
- Platform maintenance and upgrades
- Monitoring and operational improvements
- You stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
Required experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through experience).
You have a proven background in Solution Architecture, with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong communication skills are essential, as you will coordinate across a wide variety of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, developers, and business representatives. You are capable of leading meeting, presenting architectural decisions, and ensuring alignment across teams.
You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
You combine conceptual and strategic thinking with a hands-on and pragmatic mindset, allowing you to bridge the gap between vision and execution.
Optional experience
- You have broad technical expertise across application, integration, and cloud architecture, with no strict dependency on a single technology stack.
- You have strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including designing and governing cloud environments and services.
- You are familiar with modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first design, BFF).
- You have experience with Azure platform operations and LCM topics, such as monitoring, identity, security, certificate management, and platform governance.
- You understand DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and operational considerations in cloud environments.
- Experience with .NET is considered a plus, but not a primary focus.
- Experience with React is considered a plus, but not a primary focus.
- You are comfortable working across both strategic and operational levels, including hands-on technical contributions.
