The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for optimizing our end-to end supply chain processes to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and ensuring a secure, efficient supply chain for non-strategic spend. Drive transactions efficiency, enhance expertise and foster innovation
- by leveraging technology, digitalization and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) systems
- by focus aligning with GIS’ goals of operational excellence, financial stability and customer satisfaction, ensuring we meet and exceed expectations in an ever-changing market.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end supply: Streamline processes using advanced technologies for optimal efficiency
- VMI implementation: Optimize stock levels and secure supply chain through effective vendor partnerships
- Innovation and technology: Stay ahead with cutting-edge solutions to enhance procurement processes
Profile
- Minimum 5 years experience with Supply Chain Planning & Strategy (Sales & Operations Planning processes, demand forecasting, production planning, inventory optimization)
- Proven experience with procurement & supplier management (strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor performance management)
- Knowledge of Inco-terms, freight optimization, reverse logistics
- Experience with Cost Control & Budgeting (Total cost of ownership (TCO), cost-saving initiatives, financial analysis for supply chain decisions)
- Knowledge of Inventory & Warehouse Management (Safety stock calculation, just-in-time (JIT), ABC classification, Warehouse layout and process optimization)
- Experience with Logistics and Distribution Management (transportation, warehousing, order fulfillment)
- Knowledge of ERP and Supply Chain Systems

- English: Full professional proficiency (working language)
