Senior Network Infrastructure Consultant
For one of our European Institution in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior Network Infrastructure Consultant to strengthen the Corporate Networks team.
You will contribute to the design, evolution and optimisation of enterprise network, datacentre and security infrastructures. Working in a complex and international environment, you will support strategic initiatives, infrastructure modernisation, network automation and large-scale connectivity services.
Your responsibilities
As a Senior Telecom & Data Centre Consultant, you will:
Strategic & Architecture Activities
Conduct architecture and technology studies for network and datacenter solutions
Evaluate emerging technologies, standards and industry best practices
Define and execute Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and technical evaluations
Provide recommendations regarding scalability, availability, maintainability, security and operational efficiency
Engineering & Delivery
Perform capacity planning and infrastructure forecasting
Produce technical specifications and architecture documentation
Support procurement activities and technical evaluation of vendor proposals
Plan and supervise infrastructure migrations
Ensure quality assurance during deployment activities
Assess solution performance and recommend improvements
Automation & Infrastructure Modernisation
Design and implement network automation solutions
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approaches for network operations
Deploy automated provisioning solutions using Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) and PXE
Implement CI/CD practices for network infrastructure
Support containerised automation platforms and hybrid cloud integrations

Your profile
Proven experience in enterprise networking, datacentre infrastructure and network security
Strong understanding of modern network architectures and automation practices
Experience delivering infrastructure projects in large and complex environments
Ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant industry certifications are considered a strong asset
