We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Leader to join the Signalling Design Platform and lead complex ICT projects focused on microservices architecture and ICT packages supporting railway signalling systems.
Working closely with the Business Project Leader, you will take ownership of the ICT delivery of projects related to ETCS, interlocking systems, and signalling maintenance. These projects are primarily developed internally using Agile methodologies, while some involve third-party software packages and external suppliers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a project leader who enjoys working in technically challenging, safety-critical environments where quality, cybersecurity, and compliance are essential.
Lead end-to-end ICT projects within the Signalling Design Platform.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of analysts, developers, and testers.
Deliver projects within agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
Plan, monitor, and report on project progress, costs, risks, and incidents.
Organize Steering Committees and Gate Meetings.
Collaborate daily with the Business Project Leader.
Manage external vendors and software package implementations.
Ensure successful integration of solutions into the existing application landscape, including:
Infrastructure
Cybersecurity
Enterprise Architecture
Oversee release management activities.
Maintain technical documentation and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and EN 50128 standards.
Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience.
Proven experience delivering Agile/Scrum projects.
Experience working within hybrid delivery methodologies (Agile + traditional project management).
Experience managing technical software development teams.
Experience with supplier and vendor management.
Experience in complex enterprise ICT environments.
Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated environments is a strong advantage.
