What is the Graduate Development Program (GDP)?
The GDP is a two-year rotational program designed to launch your career and accelerate your development within UCB. Across three rotations, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with experts, and gain a comprehensive view of how our organization works to deliver value for patients.
Patient Evidence is a core organization within UCB responsible for understanding patient needs and generating the scientific evidence required to demonstrate the value of our therapies. By combining patient insights, clinical research, and real-world data, the team builds robust evidence that informs decisions by regulators, healthcare professionals, and payers, ensuring that treatments deliver meaningful impact for patients.
Throughout the program, you will rotate across key teams within the Patient Evidence organization, including Regulatory Stakeholders, Stakeholder Integration, and Patient Communities.
You will gain exposure to a wide range of activities such as regulatory processes, cross-functional collaboration, digital transformation, and patient-focused clinical operations. During each rotation, you will contribute to impactful projects while being supported by dedicated coaching from your manager, as well as guidance from experienced mentors and subject matter experts.
You will develop a strong mix of technical and interpersonal skills essential for a career in the biopharmaceutical industry. These include project management, problem-solving, data analysis, and digital capabilities, alongside collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and adaptability. You will also build an understanding of regulatory environments, patient safety, and how evidence is generated and leveraged to support decision-making and bring innovative treatments to patients.
As part of UCB’s Early Talent community, you’ll also connect with peers through workshops, site visits, and networking events that enrich your learning and broaden your perspective.
