Practice Area
BCG Platinion launched in Germany in 2000 to add deep technical expertise to the Boston Consulting Group’s existing capabilities. Today, our presence spans across the globe, with offices in Asia, Europe, and South and North America. Our New York-based North American team began in 2014 and in 2017 acquired MAYA Design, a Pittsburgh-based digital design and innovation lab, to grow our capabilities around technology and design.
We support our clients’ total digital transformation through technology, design, cybersecurity, and risk management & financial engineering capabilities. And together with BCG, BCG Platinion’s interdisciplinary team of technical experts enable customized technical solutions and accelerate delivery value through new business platforms, application consolidations, and major system implementations.

At BCG Platinion, we solve complex, high-stakes business problems through a technology lens. As a Manager in Technology, you lead multidisciplinary teams delivering technology transformation programmes for some of the world's most complex organisations. You partner with senior client stakeholders, shape strategic technology roadmaps, and translate digital ambitions into concrete initiatives with measurable business impact.
The role

Tackle complex, high-stakes business problems through a technology lens, working across strategy, architecture, and delivery to create impacting solutions.

Oversee multiple workstreams simultaneously: quality, consistency, and on-time delivery. You keep complex programmes coherent under pressure.

Drive adoption of modern engineering practices: agile delivery, DevOps, cloud migration, and next-generation architectures (AI/GenAI, microservices, containerisation) in client organisations.

Work closely with client and BCG teams, combining strong collaboration with the ability to mentor and develop talent on both sides of the engagement.

Contribute to Platinion's growth through new offering development, proposal leadership, thought leadership, and practice-building via recruitment, training, and knowledge sharing.
What You'll Bring
What you'll bring

Master's degree in a STEM or business field.

7–10 years of experience in IT consulting, in a technology company, or leading IT delivery functions.

Proven track record of designing and executing complex technology transformations with clear business outcomes.

Deep expertise across several domains: IT modernisation, enterprise and solution architecture, data and analytics, ERP/CRM, AI/GenAI, DevOps, and agile operating models.

Structured problem-solving and analytical rigor, you are able to break down ambiguous challenges and build a clear path forward.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to lead workshops, steering committees, and executive conversations with impact, clarity, and confidence.

A practical, delivery-oriented mindset, analytical rigor, you get things done and hold yourself and your team to high standards.

Entrepreneurial ownership: you take initiative on clients, team development, and go-to-market contributions without waiting to be asked.

Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
