The Data Acceleration Tribe - the centralized data & AI team in Telenet’s agile at-scale organization – is responsible for creating data products that turn data into a competitive advantage: every interaction with our customer is hyperpersonalized, every important customer experience is made smarter by AI and every key decision we make is informed by data.
Within the Data Acceleration tribe, the AI team is responsible for co-creating transformative AI products together with the business through intelligence building and experimentation. Creating value proof-points and sustainable solutions are at the core of our DNA. We cover the full scope of Telenet: hyperpersonalized marketing campaigns, customer experience transformation, smart network roll-out and maintenance, smart in-home connectivity, … We are a multi-disciplinary team (+/- 30 members) consisting of data strategists, data scientists, MLOPS engineers, CRM experts and data analysts.
The Commercial & Service AI team specifically focuses on collaborating with both our marketing and customer operations teams to improve their business value by becoming more efficient and effective through AI. The data strategists and data scientists in the team build AI solutions that range from propensity, uplift and CLV models used in automated campaigning to segmentations for better insights and even global optimization algorithms to streamline our call centers.
Your Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Ideate : You bring thought leadership on Artificial Intelligence, specifically in a commercial context, and can define new opportunities in existing and new AI products
- Define : You are accountable for the definition, development, maintenance and SLAs of AI products that help solve a specific business need
- Plan : You shape and negotiate (with business stakeholders) a clear roadmap for the AI products within your scope
- Execute : You steer and challenge multi-disciplinary analytics teams to build these data products and communicate about the results to stakeholders and senior management
- Coach : Together with other PO’s, you coach our data specialists to bring them to the next level (personal growth is key in our data organization)
Your profile
You have strong data, business and leadership skills:
- Strategic thinking has no secrets for you
- A sharp understanding of how data and AI solutions can be used to drive the business, specifically in a personalized marketing context
- Strong storyteller skills and the ability to deliver a message with impact to senior leadership
- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills to deal with conflicting priorities and ambiguity.
- Ability to lead and coach multiple small teams of data experts
- A background in management consulting is a plus, with valued skillset incl. business cases, project management, stakeholder management and presentation skills (pyramid principle)
- You have a can-do mentality, an agile mindset and experience with dealing with change in an organization.
- You speak English and Dutch fluently.
You have a Master or equal by experience, and at least 5-10 years of relevant experience (data strategy, AI, management consulting and/or personalized marketing).
