ELIA : Dev Python /React Medior - APIS -
As a Full Stack Development Service, you will work on an in-house platform displaying some projects of Elia Group. This platform will need to be migrated to a new Content Management System, and also support and maintain the platform. You will collaborate closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and IT Security teams to implement secure coding practices, improve platform performance, and ensure full compliance with Elia’s security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migration of an existing platform to SitecoreAI
- Conduct regular code reviews with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
- Optimize platform performance through caching, database tuning, and CDN/WAF improvements.
- Strengthen observability by enhancing monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Application Insights, Azure Monitor or similar application).
- Participate in the definition and adoption of SLA/OLA, incident, and change management processes.
- Document all technical and security changes following Elia’s governance and audit requirements.
- Support the project team, currently working on a migration to SitecoreAI.
You are able to speak, read and write fluently English and French or Dutch. Strong documentation and communication in English.
3+ years of professional experience in backend development using Python together with FastAPI.
3+ years of professional profesisonal experience in frontend development using React (experience working with NextJS is beneficial).
Experience developing backend services using NodeJS especially with NestJS is a strong plus
Experience with deploying services in the Cloud.
Experience with DevOps and setting up of pipelines
Excellent collaboration skills
Experience working with SitecoreAI is a strong plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
