AREA SALES MANAGER
DACH REGION, NORDICS & EASTERN-EUROPE
Essential duties & responsibilities
• Develop, implement and manage strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Assess business conditions by geography and vertical market.
- Meet key clients, building relationships and negotiating to bring on new business.
- Provide samples, trials and support for prospective and current customers.
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities.
- Generate target list of large end-user customers to pursue.
- Direct and maintain sales forecasting activities.
- Manage customer financial management.
- Communicate competitive market pricing.
- Attend trade-related events that enhance account relationships and the
market position.
- Maintain close internal and external communication.
- Report to the Director Sales and Marketing.
Education & experience
• Bachelor/Master degree in chemistry or economy or engineering or equivalent by experience.
- Min. 10 years of commercial B2B experience in both distributor management and direct prospection
- Experience in the sale of fluorescent pigments is not required. Experience in the (chemical) industry
is a plus.
Skills
• Sales relationship builder with “hunting” mindset.
- Willing to travel abroad (max 2 weeks per month).
- Good knowledge of English and German
