As our Consulting Services continue to expand, we are currently looking for an AI Transformation Consultant to join our team.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and transformation leader, helping our clients identify, shape, and implement high-value AI use cases. You will combine business acumen, consulting skills, and strong technical understanding of AI architectures to guide clients from ideation to implementation.
You will engage with senior business and IT stakeholders, facilitating workshops to identify opportunities, define use cases, and translate them into actionable solutions with clear business value and ROI, while leveraging both local expertise and NTT DATA’s global capabilities.
This role combines presales and delivery responsibilities, allowing you to contribute across the full lifecycle—from opportunity identification and solution shaping to implementation and value realization.
What will you do
As AI Transformation Consultant:
- Lead AI use-cases discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities aligned with client strategy
- Translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions, ensuring feasibility from both a technical and organizational perspective
- Define end-to-end AI transformation roadmap, including use cases prioritization, data requirements, sovereignty and architecture considerations, and governance model
- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams (data scientists, engineers, architects)
- Provide guidance on AI solution design, including data pipelines, model lifecycle, integration, and deployment considerations
- Be able to technically challenge the proposed solutions of every party
- Evaluate ROI, business impact, and feasibility of AI initiatives, supporting business case development and investment decisions
- Ensure alignment with ethical AI principles, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, AI Act), and responsible AI practices
- Collaborate with security consultants to ensure AI solutions are designed with security and compliance as native components
- Collaborate with local teams and global delivery units (e.g., AI factories, centre of excellence) and the ecosystem of local partners to leverage available capabilities and assets
As trusted advisor in a long-term relationship with clients:
- Act as a strategic partner supporting clients in their AI transformation journey
- You define and drive the governance around AI projects at our clients as well as drive the global client AI Awareness level as part of the change management process
- Provide thought leadership on AI trends, capabilities, and limitations (including GenAI and Agentic AI)
- Support clients in defining operating models, governance frameworks, and change management approaches for AI adoption
- Drive execution of selected use cases and ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes
- Ensure continuity between presales and delivery phases, maintaining consistency in vision, scope, and expected outcomes
As supportive consultant in presales phase:
- Contribute to the identification and qualification of AI opportunities within existing and new accounts
- Lead or support the definition of AI solutions, ensuring global coherency across business, data, technology, and security layers
- Engage with global factories, security experts, and specialized teams to shape competitive and scalable solutions
- Create and secure a network of trusted local partners that can be leveraged for the delivery of end to end solutions.
- Participate in the creation of business cases, proposals, PoCs, and client presentations
- Work closely with sales teams to translate client needs into compelling AI value propositions
- Ensure smooth transition from presales to delivery, including proper scoping and alignment with delivery teams
What we are looking for in candidates
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5–10 years) in consulting, digital transformation, or AI/data-related roles
Core competencies:
- Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders and lead structured discussions on business challenges
- Proven experience in identifying and shaping use cases with clear business value
- You already maintain a strong local partner eco-system
- Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including GenAI and data platforms
- Ability to understand technical architecture without being a pure developer
- Strong business acumen with the ability to assess ROI and value creation
- Experience translating business needs into technical requirements
- Good understanding of security and compliance considerations in AI solutions
- Ability to work in a distributed, international environment
- Experience or strong affinity with both presales and delivery activities

- Fluent in English, Dutch and French
