️ About the Role
A leading financial market infrastructure company is looking for a Specialist SailPoint Engineer to join their Chief Information Security Office (CISO), within the Identity and Access Management (IDAM) team. IDAM is responsible for implementing, operating and managing all access from, to and within the organisation's IT infrastructure — ensuring each individual has access to the right resources, at the right time, for the right reasons, in line with increasingly rigorous compliance requirements. Services covered by IDAM include access management, user lifecycle management, privileged access management and recertification, as well as delivery and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain architectural design documents, including technical diagrams, process flows and system configurations.
Design, implement, validate and document new SailPoint-related changes, fixes and improvements — including custom development, not just configuration.
Act as 3rd line support for the SailPoint IIQ infrastructure and its products.
Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation strategies, and implement necessary controls.
Troubleshoot and resolve security and technical issues related to SailPoint IIQ infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, network security and compliance, to ensure alignment of security initiatives and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Provide training and knowledge transfer on implemented changes to 2nd line support and operations.
Provide expert advice and knowledge transfer to other team members.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
Real hands-on SailPoint Engineer profile: someone able to develop, integrate and maintain the full solution end-to-end — not only configure or support it.
Solid Java development experience, specifically applied to SailPoint customization (custom connectors, rules, workflows).
At least 3–5 years of Identity & Access Management (IAM) engineering experience.
Active Directory & LDAP knowledge (3–5 years) is a must.
Experience troubleshooting custom system/application connectors within SailPoint IdentityIQ.
Experience integrating SailPoint IIQ with other critical applications within the organisation.
Highly Valued / Nice to Have
Knowledge of Windows & Linux server operating systems.
Scripting knowledge, e.g. PowerShell.
Experience integrating SailPoint with other security tools and technologies, including SIEM (e.g. Splunk) and PAM solutions (e.g. CyberArk).
Experience working with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
Experience working in a multicultural environment.
Experience using tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, MS Teams and MS Office suite.
