Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Acquisition: With enthusiasm and conviction, you ensure our innovative products are specified and included in tenders for large-scale projects.
- Network Building & Relationship Management: Proactively build and nurture a valuable network within the construction industry, effortlessly connecting with architects, project developers, and contractors. You strengthen these relationships through your dedicated involvement and proven expertise.
- Market Presence & Events: Regularly attend industry events to expand your network and foster relationships. Additionally, you will conceptualize and organize inspiring events tailored for this target audience.
- Consultative Sales & Technical Advice: With a keen eye for opportunities, you proactively collaborate with our partners, advising them on finding the ideal, project-specific solutions. You provide essential technical support, guidance on relevant standards and certifications, and leverage digital tools to elevate every project.
- Internal Coordination & Leadership: You effectively lead coordination with various internal departments (e.g., technical services, marketing), taking charge and engaging the right experts at the opportune moment to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Brand Ambassador: You are the passionate ambassador for the innovation, sustainability, and superior performance of Villeroy & Boch solutions.
- Presentations & Workshops: Through inspiring presentations, interactive workshops, and compelling case studies, you clearly and persuasively communicate the value and benefits of our products to all stakeholders.
- Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new project developments to identify strategic growth areas and potential partnerships.
What you Bring to the Table
- Passion for Architecture & Sustainable Building: Driven by a future-oriented vision and a keen eye for innovation, you possess a genuine passion for architecture and sustainable construction.
- Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of construction and detailing is essential; experience within the sanitary, building materials is a significant advantage.
- Interpersonal Skills: You effortlessly build solid relationships with diverse stakeholders, from visionary architects to demanding project developers.
- Experience: Proven track record of success in project sales, key account management, or business development within a project-driven environment, preferably in the sanitary, construction, interior design, or luxury goods sector.
- Skills:
o Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
o Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
o Demonstrated ability to identify and translate market opportunities into concrete business proposals.
o Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce,) for pipeline management and reporting.
o Strategic thinking with a client-centric approach.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Languages: Fluent Dutch is required. A good knowledge of French & English.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
