Bpost (part of Bnode) is in full transformation: from a national postal operator to a regional and digital logistics player. We are evolving from a traditional mail and B2C organization to a broad provider of X2C and B2B solutions. We leverage our infrastructure, technology, and customer focus to connect businesses, consumers, and communities. New product lines and market segments, such as overnight deliveries of spare parts and work materials to field technicians, require creative, end-to-end solutions on the delivery side. These solutions are integrated logistics-digital concepts that seamlessly combine technology, data, and operations. To achieve this ambition, Bnode is setting up a new department that develops and implements innovative solutions.
Role As Solution Engineer , you are responsible for designing, testing, and implementing new integrated logistics-digital solutions that meet the rapidly changing needs of our customers. You lead a team of 3 to 4 junior engineering consultants and work closely with business developers, commercial teams, customers, and operational departments. You translate business needs into concrete, workable solutions—from concept to successful execution.

Understand customer needs: Dive into customers’ business models and identify opportunities to create added value through integrated logistics and digital technology.

Design solutions: Develop innovative concepts that address new markets (such as B2B overnight delivery, X2C flows, circular logistics, etc.).

From idea to implementation: Manage the entire process—from conceptual design and technical validation to pilot project and operational rollout.

Collaboration and stakeholder management: Act as the bridge between commercial teams, customers, IT, operations, and supply chain.

People leadership: Coach and motivate a small team of engineering consultants and foster experimentation, innovation, and hands-on realization.

Continuous improvement: Evaluate the performance of new solutions, gather feedback, and continuously optimize.
