Job description
You will be the driving force behind the realization of our Energy, Sustainability, and Climate Action Plan. This is a key leadership role where you will turn our clients sustainability commitments into actionable strategies, shaping the future of our renewable energy business (Solar, BESS, carports,..) and accelerating our growth. You will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive vision and strategy for sustainability and energy, aligning with our clients values and the EU Green Deal. Lead a team of internal and external collaborators to drive initiatives forward.
- Data Analysis and Risk Management: Analyze trends and data, building models that inform sustainability decisions. Identify risks and opportunities to reduce the carbon footprint of our real estate portfolio.
- Technology and Innovation: Explore and implement technological solutions to enhance the sustainability of our portfolio, considering environmental regulations, efficiency, and innovation. Lead investment programs that span across our clients portfolio.
- Business Development: Build and scale a sustainable energy business, incorporating investments and services with an entrepreneurial mindset. You focus on PV plants, Battery storage and car ports, among others.
- Resource Planning & Project Leadership: Oversee global resource planning for energy and sustainability initiatives. Act as a senior project leader for projects focused on sustainability improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to inspire innovation and offer clients cutting-edge solutions and added-value services.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the Energy & Sustainability team, maintaining close communication with all our clients offices across the countries we operate in. Report directly to the COO.
Your profile
- Experience & Education: You hold a master’s degree and have at least five years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in project and change management.
- Market Expertise: You have a strong network within the energy and sustainability sectors.
- Vision & Execution: You can turn visionary strategies into practical, efficient daily operations, combining creativity with business acumen.
- Leadership & Communication: You are a collaborative leader, skilled in managing teams and communicating effectively in Dutch, English, and French.
- Problem-Solving & Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are a proactive, results-driven problem solver with an entrepreneurial approach and a can-do attitude.
- Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic business environment.
