Role Purpose
As the Regulatory & Policy Manager at Nemo Link, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic dialogue with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders across the UK and EU.
You’ll help navigate the complex regulatory environment, influence policy development, and ensure Nemo Link remains a trusted, innovative leader in the European energy market.

Key Responsibilities
The areas of work associated with this role will include:
1. Regulatory & Policy Strategy
- Monitor and interpret evolving EU and UK regulatory and policy developments impacting interconnectors.
Evaluate the operational, financial, and contractual implications of regulatory and policy changes for Nemo Link.

2. Regulatory Engagement & Governance
- Lead Nemo Link’s input into consultations, code modifications, and regulatory initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional contributions to key regulatory filings and manage relevant regulatory submission processes
Represent Nemo Link in industry working groups, technical forums, and regulatory meetings.

3. Policy Development & Market Design
- Support policy analysis and help shape the reintegration of the GB electricity market into the Internal Energy Market (IEM).
- Track developments in market coupling, capacity calculation methodologies, and broader market design reforms.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on regulatory risks and opportunities.
Prepare high-quality briefing notes, impact assessments, and board-level reports.

4. Regulatory Compliance Oversight
Ensure Nemo Link remains fully compliant with its regulatory obligations.
5. Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including:
- Elia Transmission Belgium and NESO
- Ofgem and CREG
- Joint Allocation Office
- Government bodies (DESNZ, FOD Economie, European Commission)
- Industry partners and associations (Energy Traders, Energy UK, Eurelectric, etc.)
- ENTSO-E
- Act as a trusted regulatory advisor within Nemo Link, offering clear, actionable guidance to commercial, technical, and operational teams.
