In today’s rapidly evolving financial services landscape, tax functions are undergoing fundamental transformation driven by technology, data, and increasing regulatory complexity. As a Tax Technology & Transformation Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting leading financial institutions in redesigning and future-proofing their tax functions.
You will be involved in large-scale end-to-end tax transformation programs, combining your understanding of tax processes with a strong affinity for technology and data. Working closely with clients, you will help translate business and regulatory requirements into innovative, technology-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency, control, and insight within the tax function.
This role provides a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of tax and technology, contributing to high-impact transformation projects across the financial services industry, including banking, insurance, and asset management.
Your Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of large-scale tax transformation and technology projects within the financial services sector, from design to implementation

Analyze and redesign end-to-end tax processes, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and optimization

Translate tax and regulatory requirements into functional and technical specifications for technology solutions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (tax, IT, data, and consulting) to deliver integrated, technology-driven solutions

Support the design, development, training and deployment of tax technology solutions at scale

Contribute to the integration of tax technology tools, data solutions, and reporting platforms within varied infrastructural environments

Leverage data analytics and emerging technologies (including AI) to enhance tax processes and decision-making

Support clients in building sustainable, scalable tax operating models aligned with their broader transformation agenda

Stay up to date with tax technology trends and proactively identify opportunities to bring innovative solutions to clients
Your Profile
You have:

You will obtain a Master’s Degree (e.g. Economics, IT, Engineering, Machine Learning, AI, Data Sciences, etc.).

You are interested in Tax and have strong affinity with AI, technology and a genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context. Knowledge of Python, R, Javascript, SAP or SaaS is a strong asset.

You can communicate fluently in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.

You are a team player with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

You have a great sense of accuracy.

You are results-oriented.

You are a motivated learner eager to explore new challenges (e.g. ERP systems, tax skills, etc.).
