What you’ll do
Drive new business growth within the corporate segment (excluding banks), with a strategic focus on our KYC (Know Your Customer) and ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) solutions within Kube. As companies face increasing regulatory requirements and compliance challenges, there is a growing need for trusted and verified data on business partners. The Business Developer will have a strong new-business focus and will be responsible for building a sustainable sales pipeline — identifying relevant companies, reaching out to new prospects, and developing commercial opportunities from initial contact through to successful collaboration, in line with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
The Business Developer will act as a true market opener: identifying relevant companies, initiating business conversations with new prospects, and developing these opportunities from initial contact through to successful collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development

Identify, qualify, and engage new corporate prospects, with particular attention to needs around customer onboarding, compliance, risk management, and sustainability (ESG) reporting.

Generate a sustainable sales pipeline through targeted outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls, referrals) with the support of the marketing department.

Identify and pursue lookalike prospects based on the profiles of successful existing customers.

Build relationships with new customers by acting as a door opener in markets or segments that are still underdeveloped.
Sales Cycle Management

Own the full sales cycle for corporate opportunities: from first contact to closing.

Qualify inbound leads quickly and professionally using structured discovery methods, and actively convert qualified leads into sales opportunities.

Deliver clear product demos and explanations tailored to customer needs and use cases, particularly around our KYC and ESG solutions.
Collaboration & Reporting

Maintain accurate CRM updates in HubSpot with notes, next steps, forecasts, and opportunity stages to ensure visibility and predictability of the pipeline.

Strong alignment with the marketing team to ensure consistent generation of new leads.
What makes you a great fit
- Degree in Marketing, Sales, Communication, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in account management, business development, or a similar role, ideally within a B2B / SaaS / financial services context.

Entrepreneurial and proactive profile, able to open new markets and create business opportunities from initial contact.

Ideally fluent in Dutch and French, with good knowledge of English.

Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and deliver against growth targets.

Tech-savvy, comfortable with digital platforms and CRM systems.

Good understanding of financial services, ERP/banking environments, and lifecycle automation.

Knowledge of KYC and/or ESG solutions, or a strong interest in corporate compliance and sustainability topics.
