Job Summary
As a Customer Support Representative, you will be a primary point of contact for IAPP, responsible for ensuring our members and customers are satisfied with the experience of our products and services. This includes answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and communicating with customers in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating fulfillment of daily customer inquiries. Including but not limited to responding to membership inquiries regarding membership benefits, IAPP certifications, trainings and events.
- Provides support to IAPP’s Brussels team as required.
- Event support for IAPP events in Europe, according to specific language skills (travelling might be required).
- Assists with financial processing as relates to member and customer transactions.
- Assist with inbound and outbound correspondence with our members both via phone and email.
- Advising customers and members on how to prepare for IAPP certifications.
- Ad hoc support of operational priorities as coordinated by the Customer Support Team Leader.
- Gathers and documents customers’ feedback on IAPP’s products and services.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or Communications
- Effective Communication and Customer Satisfaction skills
- Advanced level of English and an additional language (preferably French, German or Dutch)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools is a plus
- Knowledge of the Data protection industry and related regulations is a plus
