What this job involves
Our Work Dynamics department advises investors, owners and companies on creating sustainable value and providing project management assistance in construction, renovation, fit-out, sustainable regeneration or urban redevelopment.
Our consultants focus on creating value and managing risk on behalf of their clients by providing in-depth market knowledge, a rigorous and reliable methodology, and an experienced multidisciplinary team to ensure project success.
Missions
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Developer, ensuring the successful delivery of services to our clients in Belgium. He/she will be responsible for driving sales, managing the financial performance of the clients’portfolio and fostering strong client relationships which result in business growth. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, a proven track record in sales and business management, and a passion for client success.
1. Sales and Business Management
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve growth targets, revenue generation, and profitability goals.
Foster a proactive sales culture and promote cross-selling opportunities across Project & Development services (PDS), Tétris (Design & Build) and Consulting verticals.
Identify key market trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities to better position JLL in the marketplace.
Monitor competition, conduct market analyses, and devise strategies for generating new customer acquisition.
Monitor financial performance metrics, driving accountability and identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and evolve high quality presentations and pitch responses using bid support resources.
Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decisions.
Liaise with the marketing team for support, as needed.
Actively communicate and exchange information with other JLL skill lines/groups in order to optimise your market/client approach, and team-up to develop cross-selling opportunities. Use analytic tools to highlight opportunities
Escalate EMEA and Globally successful local relationships and becoming client ambassador within PDS, Tétris & Consulting structure.
2. Client Relationship Management and Client Success
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their trusted advisor and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
Understand client objectives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Actively monitor client satisfaction levels and implement strategies to enhance client success.
Actively participate in and contribute to strategic client events including JLL-hosted events, industry conferences and trade shows.
Sound like you? To apply you need to be / have:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
Proven experience (min 5 years) in sales and business management, preferably in the commercial real estate industry and/or in construction.
Strong financial acumen and the ability to drive financial performance within a portfolio.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to anticipate and navigate complex client challenges.
Demonstrated expertise in building and managing strong client relationships, with a track record of driving client success.
Results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to achieving ambitious sales targets and delivering exceptional client service.
You’ll have fluent knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
