We are seeking a skilled Database/Application Administrator to manage and maintain our database and application infrastructure effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain databases and related application systems ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot database and application environments.

Implement database and application backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime.

Manage database security, users, and access controls.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.

Perform database tuning and query optimization to enhance performance.
-
Support migration activities including cloud migrations and database upgrades.

Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Participate in incident management and resolution processes.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 12 years of experience in database and application administration.

Proficient with database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience with application servers and middleware technologies.

Strong understanding of database security, backup and recovery procedures.

Hands-on experience with cloud database services and migrations.
-
Good knowledge of scripting and automation tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
-
Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international teams.
-
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
