We are looking for a System Engineer to join our Spacecraft Operations team. This role is critical to ensuring mission success by supporting anomaly investigations, improving operational documentation, and defining monitoring and validation strategies. You will also actively participate in satellite operations, focusing on validation of critical activities during LEOP (Launch and Early Orbit Phase), commissioning, and contributing to automation of daily operations.
You will collaborate closely with subsystem experts and work in a global team environment, partnering with colleagues across Europe and the United States.
- Anomaly Investigation & Resolution
o Support investigations and resolution of anomalies on spacecraft platforms and payloads.
o Perform root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with subsystem experts.
- Operational Documentation
o Improve and maintain operational documentation, including user manuals and procedures.
o Contribute to the definition and standardization of operational processes.
o Define monitoring constraints and validation requirements for satellite platforms and payloads.
o Support automation of monitoring and validation processes to improve operational efficiency.
o Identify and define performance feedback needs for continuous improvement.
o Contribute to continuous improvements of ASL products by communicating with design team about in-orbit RETEX
- Satellite Operations Participation
o Participate in daily operations to gain hands-on knowledge of spacecraft systems and ground tools.
o Support validation of critical operations during LEOP, commissioning, and other mission phases.
o Contribute to automation initiatives for routine operational tasks.
