Our programs integrate learning areas such as friendship, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution and mediation, intercultural dialogue, and global consciousness of peace.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, result-driven, and knowledgeable Fundraiser & Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing grants from international donors, foundations, government agencies, and multilateral institutions, particularly within the fields of education, youth, peacebuilding, and global development.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the development of a fundraising strategy and donor mapping
· Identify and track relevant funding opportunities (EU, UN, foundations, government donors – local & international)
· Maintain a grants pipeline and tracking system for all active and potential proposals)
· Assist in brainstorming and creating new/innovative methods to raise funds for the organization
· Develop persuasive grant proposals, concept notes, and letters of inquiry that clearly communicate the organization’s mission, goals, and impact to increase the likelihood of obtaining funding
· Prepare detailed budgets in collaboration with the program and finance teams
· Provide prospective funders with required supporting documentation
· Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and submission requirements
· Oversee proposal timelines, submissions, and reporting obligations
· Monitor and report on grant performance and deliverables
· Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, funding partners, and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification required; postgraduate degree preferred
- Minimum 3–5+ years of professional grant writing and fundraising experience
- Proven record of securing funding for NGOs or international projects – has secured at least 2–5 successful grants
- Able to deliver high-quality proposals and fundraising outcomes quickly and effectively.
- Fluency in English (French & other languages is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of institutional donors (EU, UN agencies, foundations)
- Familiarity with grant application processes, proposal development, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills
- Strong budgeting and financial narrative experience
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international funding programs (e.g., EU, UN, and other funding agencies )
- Background in NGO, education, peacebuilding, development, or social impact sectors
- Knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements
