At Gates, we are shaping the future of mobility by combining innovation, strong brands, and close partnership with our customers. To support the continued growth of our Automotive Replacement business, we are looking for a dynamic and commercially-minded Trade Marketer to join our EMEA team.
Based in Egem and reporting to the VP Marketing, EMEA, this role plays a key part in driving trade and channel marketing excellence across Eastern and Southern Europe. You will be responsible for translating global and regional marketing strategies into effective, localized campaigns that support distributors and automotive dealers, strengthen brand visibility, and accelerate go‑to‑market execution across diverse markets.
- Work closely with the Product Marketing Manager to support advertising activities for the Automotive Replacement business, including helping to define campaign goals, selecting appropriate media channels, and coordinating internal and external resources to ensure campaigns run smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate the regional rollout of marketing campaigns by working with local sales teams, ensuring they have the information and materials they need, and staying in regular communication with the central marketing team to keep activities aligned across markets.
- Support the implementation of marketing programs and initiatives by collaborating with sales, technical teams, and the marketing & communications department to ensure consistent execution.
- Gather market and competitor information to support analysis efforts. Execute brand awareness activities and ensure marketing materials highlight key product advantages.
- Prepare marketing reports that track campaign performance, support customer satisfaction survey distribution and follow‑up, and collect and update information in customer relationship management tools.
- Monitor promotional (Co‑op) and campaign budgets by tracking expenses and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
- Support the development of lead‑generation activities by coordinating programs, tracking incoming leads, and ensuring they are passed on to the appropriate teams.

- 5 to 7 of years of progressive experience including exposure to a B-to-B marketing environment
- Excellent communication skills to build good relations with customers and internal contacts.
- Good commercial judgement and ability to get results and answers to questions on a timely basis with sometimes limited resources.
- Good Microsoft skills in particular on Excel with a thorough analytical background.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office Adobe Indesign is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and oral. Good knowledge of French is a plus.
- Travel up to 20% of the time based on business requirements.
