The degree programme International Business Management is an English-taught bachelor’s degree programme. The programme has 3 specialisations: Global Business, Global Supply Chain Management and International Entrepreneurship. We are looking for an international business and sales lecturer and a(n) (internship) coach with a wide network.

As a lecturer and coach, you will contribute to the growth process of our students as driven professionals. You reflect on new learning content and teaching methods, guide students as part of their learning process, give feedback and evaluate their growth.
Your duties:
- You teach Sales Strategy in Year 2.
- You guide students during workshops for the Foundations of International Business course in Year 1.
- You coach students during their Internship and in Projects for the Global Business and International Entrepreneurship specialisations.
- You take on an Internship coordination support role to help build a local and international network of companies for internship placements and fairs.
- You establish positive relationships and communicate effectively with students, internship and project coordinators and company mentors.
- You encourage and support students to develop themselves and to achieve the desired competencies. You seek solutions to deal with diversity within student groups in a result-oriented manner.
- You provide students with feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
- You teach/coach in one of our campuses – Groenplaats, Zuid, Pothoek – and/or online.
Additional task: You teach Future-Proof Business Strategy, part of the English-taught Microcredential Sustainable Business & Innovation for international students and young graduates. If your expertise aligns with the courses and coaching assignments mentioned above as well as this course, please mention this in your motivation letter. We are also open to hire a separate profile in an expert role to teach this course only.
- You have a strong understanding of the international business world and marketing and sales, and you can use your knowledge and experience to motivate students and provide customised guidance.
- You have the ability to guide students in their learning process by using hands-on methods and a coaching style.
- You have a broad network. You can liaise with a variety of people.
- You are a team player. You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
- You are convinced of the importance of lifelong learning and stay up to date with new developments and trends in business and education, incorporating them into your teaching methods.
- You can use ICT applications in the execution of your work including digital teaching. At KdG, we work with the current Office365 package, the Canvas learning management system and the e-student service digital platform.
- You have minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
- You have worked in an international environment.
In addition, you hold a Master’s degree in a business-related field.
The English-taught degree programmes at KdG require a C1 diploma for English. As a non-native Dutch speaker, you have a B2 for Dutch or are willing to acquire it as soon as possible.
- A part-time assignment as a contractual employee. You start on 1 September 2026 with a contract for one year, with the intention of extending (after positive evaluation).
