Help shape how businesses will run
At Enterlio, we are building a modular B2B software platform for business operations.
Many recurring processes still run across disconnected systems, emails, spreadsheets, manual handovers, and informal follow-ups, making them harder to understand, coordinate, improve, and scale.
Our platform brings together process intelligence, coordination, automation, monitoring, operational knowledge, and AI to help organizations run recurring processes with greater visibility, consistency, control, and intelligence.
Our ambition is to create an operational system that executes, coordinates, monitors, and improves recurring business processes across people and software systems, while continuing to evolve through new modules, integrations, and capabilities.
Alongside our platform, we work with selected organizations through Digital Product Engineering, designing and building software and AI-enabled products that address complex business needs, create new digital capabilities, or modernize existing ways of working.
We are looking for a Business Developer who can help bring these capabilities to the market, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to shaping our commercial direction as the company grows.
About the role
This is a full-cycle business development and sales role.
You will identify prospective clients, start meaningful commercial conversations, understand their priorities and challenges, shape relevant propositions, and manage opportunities through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
You will remain involved throughout the commercial journey and take responsibility for moving opportunities forward and turning relevant technology opportunities into long-term client relationships.
Your primary focus will be growing the market for our platform. You will also identify and develop opportunities across our Digital Product Engineering capabilities and other areas that may emerge as the company grows.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to our positioning, target markets, partnerships, messaging, sales approach, and commercial priorities.
This role is suited to someone who wants to help build a commercial function rather than inherit a finished script and a fixed way of working.
What you will do
- Identify and develop new B2B opportunities in the Belgian market.
- Research and prioritize prospective organizations, sectors, and decision-makers.
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, operational leaders, and technology stakeholders.
- Generate opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, referrals, partnerships, events, and inbound interest.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand a prospect’s priorities, operational challenges, and technology needs.
- Develop opportunities for our platform and identify where our Digital Product Engineering capabilities could address broader software, AI, or digital-product needs.
- Position our platform and wider capabilities in clear commercial terms.
- Help prospects connect operational challenges and business ambitions with relevant technology opportunities.
- Coordinate product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and technical discussions.
- Develop long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for expansion or further collaboration.
- Build relationships with relevant commercial, referral, technology, and implementation partners.
- Help establish a disciplined, repeatable, and scalable commercial function.
What we are looking for
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in B2B business development or sales.
- Experience selling software, SaaS, IT services, automation, digital transformation, consulting, or another complex B2B offering.
- Demonstrable experience generating new opportunities and contributing across the sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English, including the ability to conduct commercial conversations and write professional communications.
- Strong listening and discovery skills, with the ability to understand business challenges and connect them to relevant technology opportunities.
- Confidence communicating with executives, operational teams, and technical stakeholders.
- The ability to explain software, automation, and AI through clear business value and practical outcomes.
- Strong organization, follow-up, CRM, and pipeline-management habits.
- An independent, proactive, and resilient working style
- Experience selling recurring software subscriptions, project-based technology engagements, or working with Belgian SMEs and mid-market organizations would be an advantage
What we offer
- A central role in the growth of an ambitious Belgian B2B software company.
- The opportunity to help bring a new operational software platform to the market.
- The chance to help shape our positioning, target markets, partnerships, and sales function.
- A competitive fixed compensation package based on experience.
- A transparent, performance-based commission structure with additional upside for exceeding agreed targets.
- For the right long-term candidate, the possibility of participating in a future equity or long-term incentive plan, subject to performance and the formal terms of the plan.
- A hybrid and flexible working environment.
- The tools and support needed to perform the role effectively.
