Mission Overview
Elia Group is looking for an experienced Test Coordination Consultant to support applications within the Data Platform and Data Marketplace domains. The mission focuses on coordinating testing activities across multiple Agile teams, ensuring alignment with QA governance, project objectives, and business requirements.
The consultant will play a key role in defining end-to-end testing strategies, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing test execution, and providing quality insights to support successful project delivery.
Mission Scope
The consultant will be responsible for coordinating and governing testing activities throughout the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring quality standards are consistently met across projects.
Function DescriptionTest Strategy & Planning
- Define test objectives and establish the End-to-End (E2E) testing strategy aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans that support both product-specific goals and overall project objectives.
- Ensure appropriate test coverage across all testing phases.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, development teams, and business stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities.
- Communicate testing progress, quality status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Test Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple Agile teams.
- Oversee Functional, Integration, System Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure testing activities comply with QA standards and project quality objectives.
- Coordinate business users during UAT and validate business requirements.
Test Data Management
- Lead and coordinate test data preparation across the System Under Test (SUT) and integrated systems.
- Ensure test data complies with industry standards, internal governance, and applicable legislation.
Defect Management & Risk Mitigation
- Monitor and manage defect lifecycles.
- Coordinate defect resolution with development teams.
- Assess testing risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
Test Reporting & Quality Assurance
- Consolidate and analyze testing results.
- Produce quality reports highlighting testing progress, open defects, risks, and quality trends.
- Support Go/No-Go release decisions by providing quality assessments and readiness reports.
QA Chapter Contribution
- Participate actively in QA Chapter initiatives.
- Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
- Support QA governance and organizational testing standards.
Required Skills & ExperienceMandatory
- Proven experience creating comprehensive End-to-End (E2E) test strategies and test plans.
- Hands-on experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Functional, Integration, System Integration, and End-to-End testing.
- Ability to identify non-functional testing requirements.
- Experience assessing testing scope and ensuring complete test coverage.
- Proven experience coordinating Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Strong analytical thinking with the confidence to challenge existing approaches.

Experience Required
- Senior-level experience in Test Coordination, QA Leadership, or Test Management.
- Proven experience coordinating enterprise-wide testing activities across multiple teams.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Experience supporting complex digital transformation or enterprise application projects.
Language Requirements
- Fluent English (mandatory).
- Fluent French or Dutch (mandatory).
- English is the standard working language within the team.
