Make your mark for patients
To strengthen our External Manufacturing – Drug Product and Devices department, we are looking for a talented and motivated individual to fill the position of: Alliance Manager based in Braine-L’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role :
You will lead the relationship and daily collaboration with an external manufacturing partner across ongoing and future divestment projects. You will coordinate manufacturing-related activities across supply chain, quality, regulatory, technical, legal, finance, and other partner teams to support business continuity, compliant delivery, and successful transfer activities. You will also oversee planning, risk management, issue resolution, and alignment with contractual commitments.
Who you’ll work with :
You will be working in a team that partners closely with colleagues across external manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory affairs, finance, legal, procurement, and technical functions. You will also work day to day with external manufacturing partner contacts and support governance meetings, action tracking, and decision-making across multiple workstreams. The role includes close alignment with the alliance lead and the broader cross-functional project team.
What you’ll do :

Build and manage integrated project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, resources, budget, and key dependencies for external manufacturing activities within divestments.
- Coordinate manufacturing and transfer activities across internal teams and external partners to support continuity, compliance, and delivery.
- Identify project risks and interdependencies early, escalate issues when needed, and support practical mitigation and corrective actions.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with internal stakeholders and external partners, including governance meetings, minutes, and action follow-up.

Monitor delivery against contractual commitments, service expectations, pricing terms, and change requests in partnership with legal and procurement teams.

Provide cover for the alliance lead when required to support continuity in communication, decisions, and stakeholder alignment.
Interested ? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills :

Master’s degree in a technical or scientific field.
- Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or biopharmaceutical industry, with significant exposure to cross-functional project delivery.

Strong project management experience, including planning, cost control, timelines, change management, procurement, outsourcing, and contracting.
- Experience working with external manufacturing, transfer activities, or related operational programs; transfer management experience is an advantage.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners.
- Clear communication skills in French and English, with confidence working across functions and cultures.
- Solid technical understanding, good judgment, and a focus on ethical, compliant, and high-quality delivery.
