As a Junior Accountant at Antwerp Management School (AMS), you play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate financial administration within one of the world’s leading management schools.
In this varied position, you will contribute to our daily accounting processes and support our financial team in both operational and analytical tasks. Your responsibilities include:

Process and book purchase invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.

Book bank transactions and ensure all financial flows are correctly recorded.

Register teachers' fees using SD software.
- Prepare and process outgoing invoices.
- Perform various general ledger bookings to support correct financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, and Intercommunity (IC) reports.
- Support the team during quarterly and year-end closings in accordance with BE GAAP.

This role is designed for someone eager to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility in a supportive and internationally oriented environment.-
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, ideally complemented by 1–2 years of experience in an accounting position.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You have a solid understanding of BE GAAP principles.
- You are familiar with accounting software such as Navision; experience with Odoo is a valuable plus.
- You work confidently with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- You enjoy working collaboratively within a team, but you can also plan your work independently and take initiative when needed.
- You have an affinity with the education sector and feel energized by working in an environment with an international and academic character.
