Mervers Benelux n.v. is a growing company with more than 50 years of experience in manufacturing of industrial agitators for leading industry applications such as food-, (petro)chemical-, wastewater applications, …

Our agitators are manufactured in Antwerp (Waasland) and distributed World-Wide.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the project team. You will be responsible for the tailor-made designs of our industrial agitators by using high end software. With your strong technical know-how, you can reinforce our service team.

Tasks & responsibilities

Review drawings form engineers and clients;
Gather missing information and provide advise on the execution of the concept;
Design the concept by using specialised design software such as Inventor (CAD);
Provide feedback on the status and possible optimalisations of the design;
Follow-up on the manufacturing to guarantee the quality control of the design and execute adjustments if any.
Manage and archive the design files of each project on our cloud platform;
Gather information on specified norms,…
Keeping himself/herself continuously informed of the evolutions within the field of design.

Your profile

Bachelor and/or Master in electromechanics;
Strong social and communication skills;
Driven team player, sense of organization and a strong inquisitiveness;
Pragmatic and no-nonsense approach with the necessary assertiveness;
Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
