We are looking for an experienced Workday Consultant with strong expertise in the HCM Core, Recruitment & Talent modules and advanced knowledge of Workday integrations. The ideal candidate combines functional HR process understanding with technical integration capabilities (PECI, Workday Studio) to support, optimize, and maintain business unit (BU) processes.
You will play a key role in adapting Workday to evolving business needs, ensuring stable operations, and driving continuous improvement across HR processes. You will work alongside analysts, project managers and end users in a team with other Workday experts.
Key Responsibilities
Workday HCM Configuration & Support: configure, maintain and optimize the Workday HCM Core module; translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions; support day-to-day operations and resolve system issues.
Integrations & Technical Expertise: manage and monitor inbound/outbound integrations with external systems (payroll, benefits, vendors); troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency using Workday Studio and Core Connectors (including PECI).
Duration: 4 months (01/07/2026 – 31/10/2026), full time. Location: Gent (Verenigde Natieslaan 1A, 9000) – Hybrid.
Proven experience as a Workday Consultant or Analyst, with strong hands-on expertise in Workday HCM Core, Recruitment & Talent, Workday Studio and PECI integrations, as well as experience with complex Workday integration landscapes.
Must-have technical skills: Workday HCM Core (Expert), Workday Studio (Expert), PECI integrations (Expert), Recruitment & Talent modules (hands-on) and Core Connectors. Good understanding of HR processes (hire, job changes, compensation, payroll) and the ability to translate business needs into system configurations.
Nice to have: Workday certifications (HCM, Integrations, Studio), experience with complex payroll environments, and reporting knowledge (Workday reports, Prism Analytics).
Languages: Dutch – Native or bilingual proficiency (mandatory); English – Professional working proficiency.
Soft skills: analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills (able to interact with both HR and IT stakeholders), structured, detail-oriented and quality-driven, and a strong team player able to collaborate effectively across HR and IT teams.
