We're looking for a Director, Applied AI Transformation – Software & Hi-Tech to join our team across Europe in a hybrid or remote working mode. In this strategic role, you will lead enterprise-scale AI and agentic transformation initiatives for global software and technology organizations, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and delivering practical AI solutions that create measurable business impact.
Responsibilities

Define and execute applied AI and agentic transformation strategies for software and hi-tech clients
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders on AI adoption and digital innovation
- Lead presales efforts including shaping opportunities, developing business cases and winning engagements
- Facilitate workshops to translate complex business and technology challenges into actionable AI use cases
- Drive enterprise-wide AI adoption through change management and measurable value delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams in delivering scalable enterprise AI and multi-agent solutions
- Maintain hands-on knowledge of LLMs, multi-agent orchestration frameworks and advanced AI platforms
- Ensure AI solutions comply with security and regulatory standards while enabling scalability
- Build and mentor EPAM and client teams to expand AI capabilities and adoption
- Monitor technology trends and promote EPAM as a thought leader in applied AI for software and hi-tech
Requirements

10+ years of experience in software and hi-tech with leadership roles in transformation or product innovation
- Strong knowledge of software lifecycle, platform engineering and enterprise-grade technology delivery models
- Proven success advising executives on AI strategy and leading adoption programs at enterprise scale
- Practical expertise with applied AI including large language models, multi-agent orchestration and RAG frameworks
- Familiarity with leading AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft AI and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Ability to originate and convert engagements through presales efforts and strategic business case development
- Proven track record in building and leading cross-functional global teams in complex environments
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business; MBA preferred
- Ability to travel as required
