General description

Mervers Benelux n.v. is a growing company with more than 50 years of experience in manufacturing of industrial agitators for leading industry applications such as food-, (petro)chemical-, wastewater applications, …

Our agitators are manufactured in Antwerp (Waasland) and distributed World-Wide.

As an Applications/Sales engineer, you will be part of a sales team. Your team will be responsible for the introduction and sales of our industrial agitators and/or our specialized services which require strong technical expertise.

Tasks & responsibilities

Analyse the needs of the customer and propose tailor- made energy efficient technical solutions;
Prepare technical quotations and negotiate the tailor- made solutions;
Active prospecting to maintain and expand the customer portfolio;
Provide commercial-technical support to the sales team;
Provide strong follow-up and aftersales skills on concluded contract and technical support during delivery;
Keeping himself/herself continuously informed of the evolutions within the field, in order to strengthen his/her credibility by offering a service that is continuously based on updated knowledge.

Your profile

Bachelor and/or Master in electromechanics, chemistry, process engineering or equally based on working experience;
Strong social and communication skills;
Driven team player, sense of organization and a strong inquisitiveness;
Pragmatic and no-nonsense approach with the necessary assertiveness;
Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
