For our office in BE-Genk we are looking for a Junior Truck Planner (1,0 FTE).
Function
What will you do?
Keep our daily transport planning running smoothly and adapt schedules in real time when changes
Stay in close contact with drivers, subcontractors and colleagues throughout the day
Solve operational challenges and make sure trucks keep moving
Coordinate between planning, customer care and operations
Make fast decisions in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same
Support drivers with clear instructions and practical solutions and spot problems before they become bigger operational issues
Your growth path : Intermodal planning is the Champions League of Logistics. That’s why we ask our Junior Truck Planners to stay in the role for at least 2 years: to develop the skills and expertise needed to master this complex and rewarding profession for future growth
Profile
✔ Recently graduated (Bachelor/Associates degree) in Logistics, Supply Chain or Transport Management
✔ A natural problem solver who loves challenges
✔ Stress-resistant and able to keep a cool head. Truck Planning is not a “sit back and relax” type of job
✔ Communicative, proactive and eager to learn
✔ Fluent in Dutch and English
✔ Ready to build a long-term career, If you enjoy solving problems, making decisions and keeping things moving, you’ll love it here
