Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of computers and communication security, networking, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications;
- At least 2 years practical experience of implementation, maintenance and support of ICT end systems within a large organization;
- Extensive experience configuring hardware and software.
Desirable:
- The possession of one or more of the following industry certifications will be considered as an asset:
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Zabbix Certified Professional (ZCP)
- IT Trainer Certification (such as RHCI, CompTIA CTT+, MCT, CCSI, etc)
Duties/role:
- Designing and configuring a virtualisation environment for the NNGEM application;
- Configuring and integrating the NNGEM application with the NATO Identity Management system;
- Providing support to developers for Red Hat UBI and application components in applying NCIA security guidelines.
