We are looking for a Banking Domain Architect responsible for ensuring the coherence, sustainability, and evolution of solutions within the Party Domain, while aligning architecture with enterprise strategy, domain blueprints, architectural principles, and technology evolution.
The role combines Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, and Business Analysis, with a strong focus on customer-related domains, including customer reference data management, party lifecycle management, consent & preferences, and AML-related initiatives.
The architect acts as a bridge between Business and IT stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable and reusable architectural solutions, while supporting the organization's digital transformation through robust data models, APIs, event-driven architectures, data products, and cloud capabilities.
The position requires a strong Agile mindset, close collaboration with cross-functional teams, active participation in governance bodies, and the ability to influence target architecture across the enterprise.
Your missions:
- Ensure the consistency, sustainability, and evolution of solutions within the Party Domain.
- Align domain architecture with enterprise strategy, target architecture, standards, and architectural principles.
- Translate business needs into functional and architectural solutions.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures supporting business and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the evolution of customer data, party lifecycle management, consent management, and AML-related capabilities.
- Leverage enterprise data modelling expertise to create reusable APIs, events, and data products.
- Integrate cloud capabilities into architecture designs to support modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Support projects, studies, and strategic initiatives by providing architectural guidance and recommendations.
- Define and maintain domain and enterprise architecture blueprints.
- Promote architectural best practices and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide architecture governance and decision-making.
Your activities:
Architecture Design & Governance
- Participate in studies, projects, and strategic initiatives related to architecture evolution.
- Advise teams on architecture choices for both internally developed and package-based solutions.
- Design feature architectures, asset architectures, and reference architectures.
- Define application landscapes, system maps, service interfaces, and technical interfaces.
- Produce architectural studies, standards, patterns, principles, and guidelines.
- Define and maintain IT architecture strategies, target states, urbanization roadmaps, and blueprints.
- Maintain the reference architecture with a continuous focus on simplification.
Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Model business needs into functional and architectural solutions.
- Promote architectural solutions and obtain stakeholder alignment and validation.
- Communicate current and target architecture, architectural rules, and best practices across the organization.
Data & Integration Architecture
- Design enterprise data models supporting business objectives.
- Define reusable APIs and event-driven integration patterns.
- Design and support data products enabling digital transformation.
- Ensure architectural consistency across data, application, and integration layers.
Delivery & Implementation Oversight
- Support and monitor implementation teams to ensure compliance with architectural decisions and standards.
- Review solutions before and after production deployment.
- Ensure architecture governance throughout the solution lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Monitor business, technology, and industry evolutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into the architecture landscape.
- Actively participate in architectural committees and governance forums.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide architectural evolution beyond the Party Domain scope.
