Job description
- You build long-term strategic partnerships, translate complex technical challenges into engineered solutions, and steer international offshore wind projects from first contact through to contract signature.
- As a Business Development Manager - Offshore Wind, you strengthen key client relationships, actively expand your global customer portfolio, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients in the offshore wind market.
- You analyse client requirements in depth and shape engineered solutions involving cutting‑edge technologies and specialised marine assets.
- As a Business Development Manager - Offshore Wind, you collaborate closely with Inside Sales on major tenders while independently managing smaller quotations with precision and ownership.
- You present and defend technical commercial proposals with clarity and confidence, navigating long and complex sales cycles and secure the deal.
- As a Business Development Manager - Offshore Wind, you lead contract negotiations and ensure a seamless handover to Operations, safeguarding both client expectations and project execution.
Your profile
- You hold a Master or Bachelor Degree (in engineering, construction, or similar), or equivalent by experience.
- You have relevant expertise in sales or technical operations within onshore/ offshore wind, infrastructure, or maritime sectors.
- A proactive communicator who guides clients through complex, long-cycle projects.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25%).
- Strong communication skills in English; German, Dutch or French is a plus.
