Clario, part of Thermo Fischer Scientific, is seeking an AI Prototyping Intern to support the AI Innovation team in rapidly translating ideas into tangible, testable outputs using Generative AI. The role focuses on building prototypes, mockups, and lightweight tools that help accelerate validation, improve decision-making, and enable more efficient ways of working across teams.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop rapid prototypes, mockups, and interactive demos using Generative AI tools
Translate structured inputs (e.g., JIRA data, business cases) into tangible outputs such as roadmaps, dashboards, and presentations
Build lightweight AI-driven tools and workflows to automate or simplify manual processes
Support intake and ideation sessions by quickly visualizing concepts and use cases
Explore and evaluate new AI tools, frameworks, and prompting techniques to identify best practices
Demonstrate solutions to stakeholders and support adoption of AI-driven ways of working
What we are looking for
Currently enrolled in a Master’s program with strong affinity for AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
Strong interest in Generative AI, LLMs, and emerging AI tools
Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar)
Experience with prompt engineering or agent-based workflows
Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, low-code platforms, or coding)
Basic programming skills (e.g., Python or similar)
Strong problem-solving and “builder” mindset
Ability to translate abstract ideas into concrete outputs quickly
Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a cross-functional team
Hybrid working model (Leuven office + remote)
High level of autonomy with collaboration across AI, product, and innovation teams
Internship / master thesis position (unpaid – Belgium context)
Candidates are encouraged to submit a demonstration of a project or prototype built using AI tools as part of their application
